The "Other" Golf Courses near Roda!
A quick reminder, lest we forget, that although we have one of Europe's most prestigious courses right on our doorstep, the Murcia region of Spain is blessed with many other fine Golf courses. Here is a quick sampler of some of the best in our area!

La Manga

South Course
Originally designed by Robert D. Putman in 1972, this classic championship course was remodelled in 1992 by the legendary Arnold Palmer, who won the La Manga Spanish Open here in 1975 eagling the Par 5 18th hole. The Spanish Open was celebrated on the South Course from 1973 to 1977. It was completely remodelled in 2002-2004 and is the new golfing highlight at La Manga Club

Villamartin Golf Course, designed by Paul Putman, is situated within a mile of the sea between Torrevieja and Murci airport at San Javier on the south eastern tip of the Costa Blanca.

Very tired looking, very busy, and sadly it's poorly maintained, but a nice track with some nice holes, seen better days, but suitable for all.
